OUR STORY was initiated by young students who noticed a group in severe need in Peru.
Today, VIDA BAGS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit driven by students and supported by dedicated professionals aligned on a mission.
VIDA BAGS was born from witnessing a great level of need and extreme poverty both in the mountains of Peru and the large city of Peru’s capital, Lima.
The rapid increase of cancer patients and the limited number of medical resources in Peru create a critical situation for many patients who do not have access to basic supplies, such as colostomy bags.
